Pink Cafe, Ice cream & Bubble Tea on C. Reyes Catolicos in Tarifa offers a lively blend of café charm and playful indulgence, where bubble tea, artisan coffee, and sweet treats come together in a brightly hued setting. This spot draws a diverse crowd—from local families to travelers exploring the historic town—who come both for a quick caffeine fix and for something a bit more whimsical.

Inside, the atmosphere leans heavily into a vivid pink palette that feels like stepping into a lighthearted, youthful fantasy—an unusual and refreshing contrast to Tarifa’s more traditional café scene. It’s a place that invites photos and casual conversation alike, with friendly staff who go out of their way to accommodate dietary preferences, like recommending low-sugar or stevia-sweetened options for families with kids.

The coffee here stands out, with the owner’s barista skills clearly evident in each cup. Locals and visitors who enjoy a quality brew tend to linger or grab takeaway in eco-friendly cups, which suits Tarifa’s easygoing, outdoors-loving vibe. The bubble teas, particularly inventive options like their ginger blend and the colorful Unicornio, offer a twist on standard café fare that’s both refreshing and fun.

In addition to drinks, Pink Cafe offers gluten-free crepes and uniquely airy, crunchy bubble waffles that locals have noticed differ from more typical, denser varieties found elsewhere. This mix of care for dietary needs and playful presentation hints at the café’s ambition and awareness of its community.

Beyond the menu, the space serves as a small hub for discovering local quirks, featuring items like pins and patches that reflect Tarifa’s expressive spirit. Evenings occasionally bring a change-up with comedy events or cocktail options, making it a flexible spot that can shift from daytime café to a laid-back nighttime hangout.

This café suits those who appreciate a blend of quality coffee craftsmanship with a touch of whimsical, Instagrammable decor and a welcoming, conversational vibe. Mid-mornings through early evenings are ideal times to drop by, catching both the sunlit energy and the chance to enjoy attentive, personal service that often includes useful local tips.

I had the best italian coffee I tasted in town and honestly in Spain in general, and a pistacho bubble waffle that is much more fluffier and crunchy than the Bruxelles classical one. The staff was adorable and I saw them advicing families with kids about non added sugar stevia ice cream and low sugar Bubble Tea. The decor is super pink, like a fairy dream for girls, which is very original for such a little town. I asked if it is a chain or a franchise, but it is the only one. I hope they open more: people are more and more interested in zero or low sugar options. Good work girls!

The coffee is amazing. The owner took a barista course and she knows what she's doing really well. We also tried the ginger bubble tea which was great. The crepes and the waffles are gluten free and really tasty. We are looking forward to seeing how they improve the place as they plan to make it bigger and better. We noticed some bad reviews which are clearly fake and probably from people that didn't even visit the place, just ignore them and see it with your own eyes, it's a nice place which will give you good vibes.

The drinks were excellent, had to come back and get another one! Service was brilliant as well, the staff were so friendly and showed me the best sights to see in Tarifa. The interior was so cute as well, perfect for photos, would definitely recommend!

We loved the atmosphere and talking to the owner of the Pink Cafe & Bubble Tea. We enjoyed both our coffees and our tea to go in biodegradable cups. We also enjoyed checking and purchasing some cool pins and patches.

Hola! This was an awesome experience! First thing first the lady that works there is very lively and bubbly! She gave service with a smile and was happy to make recommendations! Her attitude matched the vibe of the store which was so well put together and cutesy. I got the kinder ice cream and the pink tonic (gin and tonic bubble tea) which both were good. The vibe and atmosphere really made the experience worth it. We even went inside La Nevera which is a different vibe and relaxing. We got stickers with our order which was fun and they have pins for sale that are funny and cutesy. I highly recommend Pink Cafe and I would go back any day!!

Firstly, this place is adorable. Lovely lady who took orders and made the drinks while I was there. My youngest got a mango popping boba tea. It was gone within 3-5 minutes. Note: a lot of boba was mostly dissolved and/or very soft. But it was still very good she said.
